The purpose of maintaining a powerful standing army is twofold: First, to deter a would-be aggressor from attacking your citizens, and; second to crush anyone foolish enough to challenge your armed forces as quickly and as thoroughly as possible.

It is always better to avoid war by the threat of devastation, but it is important to engage an enemy fully with the most devastating attack possible once it is determined that no other course is possible.

Only in the last century have wars been stopped by truces. All of those have had devastating consequences to the putative victors. Generals have always known that the way to win wars was to decisively break the enemy’s will to wage war. The loss of a war must register as a defeat in the mind and heart of the loser. Any other halt will be understood as the end of a “round” as in a boxing match.

Every move on the part of a combatant is visible to all other combatants. If, as is the situation is today, planning of tactics and strategy on the part of one combatant is of political necessity transparent, and planning on the part of the other need not be, the upper hand is relinquished to the more secretive. If one side knows that the other side is working under strict time constraints, the non-constrained side can “wait out” the constrained side.

The waging of war is an occupation which demands will, endurance, and commitment. This is the underlying truth behind President G. W. Bush’s contention that “democracies don’t start wars.” He might have added that democracies don’t wage war very well, unless they understand that the war they are engaging in is an existential struggle; that it is their very existence which is on the line. Only that level of will endurance and commitment can ever hope to win a war.

The Vice President of the United States stated on Sunday that this war in which we are engaged is an “existential struggle.” By Monday the talking heads were asking “Did the Vice President REALLY BELIEVE THAT THE VERY EXISTENCE OF THE UNITED STATES WAS AT STAKE?” Of course he does, and of course it is! Our enemy is the aggressor in this war, and the aggressor has stated that its corporate goal is the destruction of the United States, and of all Western Democracy. I don’t believe that they could be clearer about their objective.

Trading the safety, security, and even the existence of our allies in this struggle for some better short term tactical position with those forces aligned by definition with the aggressors is folly. We must be very clear about who our allies are and who our sworn enemies are in this struggle.

Christian Solidarity International (CSI)

(AWEIL, Southern Sudan) Last week, 102 Black African slaves were
liberated from Baggara Arab masters and returned to their homeland in
Southern Sudan in an action supported by Christian Solidarity
International (CSI).

Most of the liberated slaves - mainly boys and young men - had been
captured by Sudanese government-sponsored Arab militias during two
decades of civil war, pitting the Arab-Muslim dominated Government of
Sudan against the predominantly Black African Sudan People's
Liberation Front (SPLA).

Interviews reveal a strong pattern of physical and psychological
abuse. The overwhelming majority of the liberated slaves had been
subjected to beatings, racial and religious insults, forced labor and
denial of the freedom to practice any religion other than Islam. Most
of the girls and women had been subjected to sexual abuse. Among the
slaves were:

16-year-old Agor Deng: Agor was repeatedly raped by her master, Adam
Abakir and his associates. Adam Abakir and his wife excised her
finger nails with a knife after she failed to obey an order to grind
grain. They also forced her, using death threats, to pray like a
Muslim.

30-year-old Garang Akot Wiir: Garang's right arm and leg were
partially paralyzed after having been beaten and tied up tightly for
24 hours as punishment for attempting to escape. He was renamed
Abdelrazik Ezzadin by his master.

45-year-old Achol Loc Wiel: Achol was shot in her leg during a slave
raid. She also lost her husband and three children during the slave
raid and forced march to Northern Sudan. Achol was gang raped by her
master's friends. She was also forced to abandon the practice of her
Christian faith and pray like a Muslim.

The liberation and documentation of the 102 slaves was the result of
cooperation between Arab-Dinka Peace Committees, the civil
authorities in Aweil State, local churches and CSI.

The Sudanese Episcopalian priest, Rev. Tito Athian - a longstanding
local CSI partner – expressed joy at the liberation and repatriation
of the slaves, stating: "Thank you for helping bring back our people
from slavery. Now they are free to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ
and choose their own religion."

After witnessing several CSI slave liberation actions, including last
week's, anti-trafficking consultant and author of The Jubilee
Prophecy, Aaron Cohen, said: "I have seen first hand, in 23
countries, the positive changes good programs can have in the lives
of enslaved people. CSI has created in Sudan a sustainable and
effective program which has liberated thousands of slaves, inspired
anti-trafficking legislation, and brought hope to people in bondage.
CSI's pioneering work in Sudan is an excellent example to all
abolitionists."

CSI has been in the forefront of the campaign to eradicate slavery in
Sudan since 1995, and is commemorating this year the 30th anniversary
of its foundation and the 200th anniversary of the abolition of the
British slave trade.

I have a problem with a letter I read recently sent from the senior Senator of Illinois to a Jewish friend of mine. The Senator mentioned, among other things, that he hoped that the “current situation” wouldn’t endanger the somewhat shaky “cease-fire” achieved after the Lebanon war this past summer. I am not sure which cease-fire he is talking about.

Jewish Cities within the Green Line are being shelled daily with rockets fired from territories purportedly under the “control” of the Palestinian Authority. If this is a cease-fire and a war is when the Jews get to shoot back, then I personally prefer a war to a cease-fire.

When did even Fox News decide that Arab Terrorists are “Militants?”

The U.S. Secretary of State smooches it up with Abbas and any other Arab who presents him/herself to welcome her; she puts on her kicking boots when she visits with the Government of Israel. “Condi go home!!!!,” that is my rallying cry for Jews throughout the world with even a modicum of self-respect left. I personally would rather die fighting than bowing.

It is interesting that among the “conflicts” around the world, the least bloody is the Arab – Israel War. Despite this, every day there is more ink spent on the Arab War Against Israel than on the bloody campaign and Genocide in Darfur.

The Government of Israel is the only non-Arab State that is willing to support the PA Regime with money. I find it strange indeed that when the U.S. refuses to send the PA money, Israel sends millions of dollars to the PA. I am amazed that when the government of Israel finds that money, weapons, and high explosives are being smuggled into Gaza with Egyptian complicity, instead of clamping the door shut, the Govt. of Israel issues permits for transfers of weapons, and ammunition. I guess that makes it Kosher!

Israelis, and that includes the official circles of the Govt., have long been counseling the world that Arab governments and the Arab street only respond to force, real or perceived; but the government of Israel insists on groveling to the PA, Hamas, Hezzbulla, and any other force of terrorists or would-be terrorists that sprouts up against Israel.

The only way to pursue Peace once hostilities have broken out is by pursuing Victory. The Democrat Party in the United States is not interested in anything but disengagement. When will they learn that anything but victory encourages continued warfare?

We cannot win by working on an “exit strategy.” We, in this case is a universal we; it applies to Israel as it does to the Western Powers. Victories end wars. It is very simple.

 

We have lost the war against the Moslem barbarian hordes. When they come to take over and subject us to our proper position and status in the world order, it will help if we understand at least the language they speak. We, quite obviously, are incapable of understanding their intent even when they clearly state it.

We, the Crusader World of Infidels, cannot believe that it is the intent of the devout Moslem world to rule the entire world in Allah’s name, and by Sha’riah Law. We cannot seem to grasp that this war didn’t start on September 11^th 2001ce, but at the beginning of Muhammad’s reign of terror in the Arabian Peninsula. Muhammad taught his followers that since the Infidel was sub-human, it was permissible to lie to the Infidel. Truces, or Hudna, were a tactic to gain an advantage over an enemy force which otherwise might overpower you. Anything that a Moslem does to bring the world and the entire population of the world to, “the True Religion of Islam,” is acceptable and to be praised.

The love of Christians and Jews which is sometimes mentioned by Moslems is accompanied by the rules of “Dhimmitude.” The Jews and Christians who live under Moslem rule are entitled to protection, as long as they pay individual and communal taxes of “Dhimmi” for the right to live in a Moslem world.

Iraq is not “a war” but merely “a theater.” We are not fighting for the Iraqi people, but for our own future. When the Democrat Party succeeds in getting us “out of Iraq,” we will be ceding territory in a global war against Barbarian Hordes, not a war against “Terror.” Terror is a tactic used by a combatant. The ununiformed and non-Stated horde we are facing is Islam: to avoid declaring war against one-point-six BILLION people around the world we label the warring parties as “Radical-,“ or “Fascist-,“ or “Fundamentalist-,” or “Wahabi-,“ or even “Extremist-“ Moslems. Truth be told; Islam preaches world domination and world subjugation to Islam. Even the most virulent strains of proselytizing Christianity never taught world domination in this manner and to this extent.

We have lost our will to fight and our will to win. The lesson we learned in Vietnam is that we can lose the war politically whole winning the war on the ground, as long as we refuse to admit that the goal of waging war is to defeat the enemy.

A great U.S. Air Force General, in a briefing to Clergy at Moody AFB said to the assembled:

“We are War Makers; our job is to KILL the enemy, and to Break All his Toys, so that he will not attempt to hurt us ever again.”

If we do not keep that lesson in mind when we go to war, we will lose all the wars we enter into. We are currently at war with a huge force of armed people scattered throughout the world. These people carry no ID card indicating their belonging to the “anti-Infidel Army.” They travel under many passports and wrap themselves in many flags. We must defeat them, or –

It’s time to learn Arabic

 

Today I present to you a quiz. What is causing some of the behaviors we are witnessing in the world today? I will pluck just a few items from the news and ask you about each of them; the answers I recommend are (a) Ignorance, (b) Stupidity, (c) Evil Intent, (d) Good Intent Gone Awry, or, (e) None of the above.

Some of these questions are supposed to be easier than others; some may require a lot of thinking on your part. If you can’t figure it out, feel free to check (a) Ignorance, but realize that this is the most benign of the answers, and ignorance is always curable by education.

1. Great White, a rock band, in a performance several years ago set fire to the venue and caused the deaths of over 100 of their fans and injuries to more than an additional hundred. The band promised that they would donate to victims’ relief funds with their future income. To this date they have donated the sum of $75,000.00 to the victims of their action. They are beginning a “Benefit Tour” – To benefit Canadian Harp Seals. ‘Nuf sed, answer now: (a) (b) (c) (d) (e)
2. The Heinz-Kerry family sent out seventy-five thousand Christmas cards, (obviously only to their nearest and dearest friends) with instructions on how to handle the card after reading so that the cards arrive at a recycling plant which will make carpet tiles out of the waste. If Teresa, or an affiliate of the family businesses owns the factory, I might give them a few points for “Capitalistic Self-Interest.” I don’t know. Answer now: (a) (b) (c) (d) (e)
3. James Earl Carter, former President of the United States of America wrote a book about the Arab war against Israel in which he branded Israel an “Apartheid” state. Christians, Arabs, non-Arab Moslems, Sikhs, Bahai, Atheists, Jews, Vietnamese former refugees, and many others live in Israel. The Arab States (over 40 throughout the world) all BAN Christians, and Jews from citizenship, and all BAN Jews from entering their borders. The PA ruled (?) areas of Israel BAN Jews from entering. It seems clear to the casual observer that while “Apartheid” might be a term applicable to a party in the conflict, it isn’t the State of Israel. Why would the “esteemed statesman” get it backwards? It just occurred to me that there are only two things in the world that happen no matter what you do.

1. Whatever you feed laboratory animals, or inject them with, or cause them to inhale, they get cancer.
2. Whatever happens in the world, the “Arab Street” becomes enraged.

I, personally, have stopped worrying about lung cancer, colon cancer, and prostate cancer. I know that something I do habitually is sure to be a cause of these cancers in laboratory animals.

Scientists, and Doctors of all types, tell me to modify my behavior so that I won’t get this that or the other cancer. I laugh at them all. I will probably die of cancer, if something else doesn’t get me first. It’s Okay with me. I know I will die eventually, and I think I would prefer to die of cancer at age 122 than of a “light beer truck,” tomorrow.

I think I have to explain, and tip my hat to my late brother Elie, who used to say about (some) people, “He should get run over by a light beer truck; he too nice a guy for a heavy one!”

The point is, however, that I will die some day, and since most behaviors and/or diets are carcinogenic, (at least in laboratory animals), it doesn’t pay to worry a whole lot about it. Cancer is like no other disease. Cancer tries to kill its host. Most other diseases are happy with using our bodies to make sustainable colonies and then as jumping off points to start new colonies in other hosts. There are lots of cancers that are happy to kill their hosts and die with the host, not infecting anyone else along the way.

“The Arab Street,” is used by the pundits and pulse takers, the social scientists, and political mavens to test what is the right thing to do to appease our enemies and save our lives. The Arab Street is the political cancer of the Twenty-first Century; the cancer that invades our bodies, and breaks the rule that all other diseases follow and has as its intent the death of the host. If it must die too, that is fine. As we have seen in this culture of death, suicide and murder, death of the believer in the cause of killing the infidel is virtue.

Forget what the Arab Street does! Whatever you do will infuriate the Arab Street. Live your life as though the Arab Street didn’t exist.

We must fight the cancer of the world’s body politic, and ignore the thoughts of how individual behaviors might inflame the cancer. Remember that any behavior on your part other than rolling over and playing dead, (no playing dead isn’t enough; being dead), is not going to stop the progress of the cancer. Research and development of medicines which can kill the cancer while protecting the healthy tissue is the cure for all types of cancer, including this one.

This is an important question to ask. In World War II, or more correctly, after World War II, the victorious Allied forces set up a tribunal to try and punish offenders for "War Crimes." Until then, the trials, such as there were, for losers in wars were held by the victorious armies, and/or the people of the victorious nations. Usually there were no trials, nor was there any attempt at meting out any kind of justice, but only revenge.

After the Dictatorship of Saddam Hussein was toppled, and he was collected up from a rat hole, there was a question as to who should try him, as well as for what should he be tried. The answer we arrived at, with the Iraqi people was that he should be tried by the criminal justice system of Iraq; okay, at the time there wasn't much of a government or criminal justice system.

We, the nations of the coalition, and the new Iraqi government decided to hasten the development of an Iraqi judicial system so that Saddam Hussein might be fairly tried. The victors of the war, the people of Iraq, in the end tried and convicted, sentenced and executed the former dictator of Iraq. The VICTORS were, and are the Iraqi people, and not the Americans, or some oil company or some other government or shadow government.

Let us stand back and praise the VICTORY of the Iraqi people as shown in their recent court proceedings. They have taken their place as free men in a free nation by doing justice on their own terms. This is a great moment in history, and let us not allow it to pass without recognition.

 

I don’t mind keeping your years so I can do business. I just want you to know that I have my own calendar and it is 5767 on that calendar. Last night wasn’t New Years Eve, but that’s ok. Just as I don’t begrudge other religions from doing most things peripheral to life in general, I don’t particularly care what day, month or year we all use to keep us all on the “same page;” so “Happy New Year!!”

In line with lots of others who think that they can surmise the future, I will make at least one prediction for this new year:

By the end of 2007, one of the best sellers world wide will be the book, “Dhimmitude For Dummies.” It will be on everyone’s Christmas Wish List; Santa won’t be able to print it fast enough and the Saudi government will offer to finance it, “in the interest of world peace.”

Ponder this:

England, the home of parliamentary democracy, the rule of
law, civility and poetry, all but gone, succumbing to Islam
via multiculturalism. Shakespeare, Blackstone, Milton,
Newton, and Matthew Arnold: "The Sea of Faith/Was once ,
too, full ... But now I only hear/Its melancholy, long,
withdrawing roar ..."

Wake up America! Your tolerance, your liberalism, your
exaltation of pluralism and humanism are obsolete.
To win the war against the most ruthless of enemies, you
will have to be ruthless yourself. Unlike you, the enemy
does not believe in the sanctity of human life: he uses
women and children as human bombs to kill you. And with
each leniency and retreat on your part, his so-called
moderate co-religionists will join him. Now, given an enemy
that pursues his global and totalitarian objective in the
name of a monotheistic religion, can you muster the
ruthlessness you exhibited in your war against Nazi Germany
and Imperial Japan?

Yes, of course, Moslems are an alien body in our midst.
Every day in London - on the tube, in shops, in parks,
whilst shopping, whilst going about the 101 tasks that make
up an average life - this is borne in on me.

In London today Moslems dress differently, are rude to
locals, jump queues, shout at us, wave their fists at us,
call us 'worthless infidel' in public and in loud voices. I
have, just four days ago, been elbowed aside by a moslem
couple, with sidekicks, whilst trying to top up my Oyster
card at a tube station at the automatic machine. Apparently,
I had taken longer than the ten seconds that they were
prepared to wait and so three burly males forced me aside
and, when I objected, pushed me to the floor and - quite
literally - and took over the machine which I was attempting
to use.

Not, in a crowded and impatient city like London that this
was a surprise, but that in this instance that I was
insulted by these people was a surprise. The eldest male in
the group, dressed in the usual and ridiculous garb of
mohammedans everywhere, looked directly at me amd said, in
quite clear English, (and I quote verbatim) "Get out of our
way infidel slave".

You may imagine how I felt at that moment. To be so insulted
in my own capital city was stunning. It took all my
self-control not to do something rash at that moment.

Knowing that CCTV cameras would have captured this incident
I complained, some three hours later (after having completed
my journey and return), to the British Transport Police on
the Broadway. I need not have bothered. Not only would
no-one there take my complaint of 'technical assault and
insult' seriously but no-one to whom I spoke was even
prepared to initiate any paperwork whatsoever nor were they
remotely prepared to find and look at the video recordings.
Indeed, one Officer even said to me that I 'should swallow
my pride' and live with it because - and, once again, I
quote verbatim 'you are just being racist and you have to
remember that it's cultural with them'.

Obviously, at this point, I indicated that I felt that I had
been physically assaulted and that I would really like to
have my complaint investigated. Well, this is really where
everything about that evening begins to stick in my craw.
When I said that, the Officer of the BTP who was listening
to me actually cautioned me and warned me that if I
persisted with making a nuisance of myself I would be
charged under the The Race Relations Act 1976 and the RRAA
(Race Relations (Amendment) Act) 2000.

I gave up at this point. Cowardice is sometimes the better
part of valour. But, damn it, they won, didn't they? I have
been intimidated into a dhimmi position by them and the very
powers which should have protected me in my own country.

"Happy New Year everyone", I say in a bitter tone of voice.
